Zelfs ik kan wat vangen:
Week 21 Fantastic fishing
Although the weather was hot, the big girls still fed. 149 carp caught with 65 over 30lb, 15 over 40lb the biggest 50lb 4oz, all caught on the awesome Trigga readymades. Our old friends Bob and Jackie were top rods with 46lb, 45lb 4oz and 44lb 4oz. (They visit so often they pay local council tax) Well done and hope to see you again soon.
Week 22 Perfect conditions
Perfect weather after very hot spell, overcast with heavy rain and wind, perfect for Cherpont, saw 152 carp caught with 83 over 30lb, 9 over 40lb and 5 over 45lb the biggest 47lb 6oz to Del Feltham. All the above caught on Trigga 20mm readymades.
Week 23
The heat of August has had an effect on the fishing, the big girlshave had a rest and, by Cherpont standards, the fishing was a liitle slow. Trigga still by far outfishing other baits. On the subject of bait we have had problems (our fault) we had almost run out of trigga for week 23 amd 24. Thanks to incredible help from Nutrabaits (Lee) we have just been o.k. 1 Ton should be delivered this week so make sure you pre-ordered to avoid disappointment!!! The fishing 83 carp, 28 over 30lb and 3 over 40lb.
Week 24 Down came the rain
Some big winds, overcast and rain towards the end of the week saw catches improve. 118 carp caught 41 over 30lb, 7 over 40lb with 2 over 45lb.
Week 25 Yes it's true
167 carp caught with 80 0ver 30lb, 22 over 40lb and 4 50lb+ to 54lb 12oz x 2 (well done Lee Clark & Laurie Dyton). Our big common is up in weight to 47lb 12oz. and this is not a record haul (see week 5). Booking for next year are flooding in, book now to avoid disappointment.
Week 26 The Harefield Boys
The crew from Harefield arrived with Merlin the magician who, when not catching carp, entertained our bailiffs with his magic tricks (can't be the good he couldn't magic up a fifty) cancel that, I've just checked the log and he caught the only 50lb+ of the week. 116 carp caught, 53 over 30lb, 11 over 40lb, 5 over 45lb and the one over 50lb. Quick note, good anglers move swims if they feel it's necessary (bad anglers, like me, just wait) Jay Green moved swim to catch 47lb and a 40lb 14oz well done.
