geert ooms met een nieuw benelux record? 85lb 4ozs zijn wel engelse ponden.

The Benelux common carp record has just been beaten by Nash Benelux consultant Geert Ooms. Geert has been after this particular common since 2004, and at 85lb 4ozs it really is the fish of a lifetime! Tackle used to tame this beast included the ever faithful size 7 Fang X hooks - Geert commented....

"After an incredible fight, I found the hook in the exact same position as it went in. Not a trace of ripping and tearing, just one tiny hole in the fish’s bottom lip, no damage and that’s what I find important."

We always knew that they were superb hooks Geert! ;oP

Ja maar toen had ie em gevangen omdat hij Solar gebruikte en nu komt het door Nash dus dat is heel wat anders ! Maar Geert ik weet niet of je meeleest en ik ken je verder ook niet. Van mij is de vis je gegunt en van harte gefeliciteerd. Gr. Dennis.
